Authenticated by Aureon was created to bring clarity, consistency and accountability to Hermès authentication. In a market where provenance directly affects value, relying on a single opinion, a photograph or unverified digital tools is no longer sufficient. The industry requires a formal, multi-expert, physical standard supported by documentation that can withstand insurance and legal review.

This is not a public authentication service. Certificates are issued only through controlled, verified channels and are reserved for private clients and selected partners operating at the highest levels of the luxury sector.

Our approach
Authenticated by Aureon exists to remove doubt, reduce risk and introduce a new global standard for Hermès authentication — one that is physical, multi-expert and designed to hold its value over time. The combination of authentication and valuation creates a complete, professionally recognised asset documentation pack.

Our process
Every item is physically inspected in-house using our proprietary 72 point protocol and reviewed by four Hermès specialists — two internal and two fully independent external reviewers. Our 72 point methodology was created in-house to provide a measurable, repeatable structure for multi-expert review in a category where no formal standard previously existed. A certificate is issued only when all four experts reach full agreement. We are not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by Hermès. All assessments are carried out independently using our own proprietary methodology, developed over more than a decade. Each authentication includes a formal market valuation as part of the documentation pack. All items are handled within a controlled environment with full oversight once in our care

Our experience spans luxury authentication, resale advisory and institutional client services, working across every category and era of Hermès production.We come from years of intensive, in person handling of thousands of Hermès pieces, giving us a level of practical, category specific expertise that cannot be replicated through theory or limited volume work.
