Multiple Hermès bags were submitted following concerns about provenance.
These pieces had been sold across several markets and were accompanied by genuine third-party certificates.
Although the certificates were authentic, our examination confirmed the bags were not.
They were identified as master fakes — high-quality counterfeits that had bypassed remote authentication systems. Through in-person assessment and pattern identification, we traced the issue to a coordinated operation.
More than £500,000 in counterfeit goods were identified and removed from circulation.
Outcome: Over £500,000 in counterfeit goods removed from market.
